Coach Boudreau's time as a Komet player and coach

I've got an interesting email about Quebec line, the line of Ovechkin - Fedorov - Semin.

I've already seen some names like 'All Russian line' or 'Red line'. So what if Kozlov would replaced Semin on that line, will you call them the same name?

Anyhow, I got and interesting email from my blog reader Linda I would like to share:

A line can not be "named" until it earns that name. Only one game, means they were lucky. When each line mate scores two or more goals, only then it can be named. It must be proven it wasn't a fluke, the line capable of scoring.

Winning the World Championship (USA in 2009! ) can count towards the line name but a line must have to prove itself in the NHL too.

Coach Boudreau's time as a Komet player and coach:

In '97-98 the Fort Wayne Komets, Coach Bruce Boudreau played from the team from 1990-92 and later coached the Komets '93-95, had a line called the MiG Line after Russians Konstantin Shafranov, Viacheslav Butsayev and Andrei Bashkirov; this line combined for 243 points.

The season they played, Boudreau was coaching in the ECHL.

I know a similar line was proposed for the Capitals and I hope the coach is willing give it a try.
