Why Ovechkin is going after Malkin?
I don't know. They have something going. I didn't get into their conflict. And I don't want to.

Isn't it strange that Ovechkin tries to hit Malkin and then Evgeny goes after you?
It was once. But Malkin skated to me afterwards and apologized, "I didn't do it intentionally." But I saw him approaching and I made one step back. So it was not too bad.

How is it to play with Fedorov?
We have become accustomed to each other, we know who is running where. And this is the most important thing in hockey to read the game a step ahead.

Were you confident that he would sign a new contract with the Washington?
Fedorov was anxious to stay. No one knew whether the club would make a decent offer. But Sergei really likes it here. He said himself that with Washington he feels that he has his second youth. I don't know why.

Because in Columbus they didn't play him to his potential.
There are no problems here. Fedorov likes the team style and he likes to live in Washington.

About playing together. When Team Russia's coach Vyacheslav Bykov visited us in March he immediately announced that we all, with Ovechkin and Fedorov, will play in one line at the World Cup. He also saw our potential. And we didn't let him down, we scored a lot of points.

Time for Bruce to try Quebec line to make Ovie going...

While the Fleischmann-Nylander-Semin line worked well together last night, Boudreau said there will be new units tomorrow for the Hurricanes. He said he wants to start shuffling less and try to create more chemsitry, but the Caps have been held to one goal in three of the past six games.

And Johnson will start in goals. I've always liked Johnson in the meaning that he is technically a good goalie, but his problem was a mental thing. Can he be a number 1? We've seen Legacy becoming #1 from being Osgood's backup and Osgood did the same thing though he went from #1 to #2 and then back.

Just like Obama said:-) "If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer". Everything is possible.
