Dmitri Kapitonov in DC

During the second break [Caps - Oilers game] we've run in the hall into Dmitri Kapitonov, who is Moscow Dynamo's fitness coach and also works with Ovechkin and Semin.

What kind of fate? Your Dynamo plays against Ak Bars in the Megasport arena right now, don't they?
The club's president Mikhail Golovkov let me go. Alexander Ovechkin called him... I've been thinking how to spend the evening. I could go to the ballet, Mariinsky Theater is on tour in DC. But I chose hockey.

So Ovechkin excused you?
We have planned it long time ago that I would visit him in US a couple of times during the season. I'll be back in April in Washington. Just about when Dynamo will win Gagarin's Cup [KHL's equivalent to Stanley's Cup] I'll fly to DC again.

If you are here, does it mean you need to get Ovechkin in shape?
But he is fine right now. I saw him when the team was training... No injuries. And the fact that he doesn't score, don't be scared. He'll burst through it soon.
