"Ovi as headhunter" fiction

 By Nate Ewell:

A quick fact to mix in with the "Ovi as headhunter" fiction we've gotten to read and hear the past two days:

Penalties in WSH-PIT Games This Year

Alex Ovechkin: None

Evgeni Malkin: Three (including boarding and interference calls that came on hits from behind)

Good catch, Nate!

Malkin keeps his foot on 'Crybaby wah-wah' pedal a lot. "I don't know why, but Ovechkin hits me a lot, wah-wah". He who sleeps with dogs wakes up with fleas, did he learn it from Crosby?

Crosby or Malkin?

Don't go too far.

It's possible to premeditatedly injury other player with legal, clean hit.

If you want to know how to do this, rewatch WJC 2005 final game. Almost all hits on Ovechkin was attempts to injury him legally.

Cleannes (lack of penalty) != lack of attempt to injury.

A clean hit is a clean hit. When Canadiens defenseman broke Ovechkin's nose, Ovie didn't cry, he went on and scored 4 goals.

Don't want to be hit, don't play hockey, play chess.

>A clean hit is a clean hit.

For example, do you know, why Kasparaitis' hits (again, clean hits!) is much more dangerous than, say, Orpik hits?

Surprising that Ovie was never penalized for all the charging he did back in October, huh? Even he realized he went too far and toned it down a bit this time. Maybe Ovie doesnt get called for penalties as much b/c he is OV. Oh I forgot, that only happens with Sidney Crosby...
