At least Ovechkin had a goal

Update:

Video of Ovechkin netting his 200th goal (caps365)

Ovechkin's post game

LA Kings 5, Caps 4.
And 200 goals by Ovechkin, 37th this season.

Sido the Kido has 119, he needs to score 81 goals to make 200. It will take him almost 3 seasons to catch up with Ovechkin (he scores 33 per season on average). By the time Crosby will score 200, he'll be older than Ovechkin is now, but he will still retire to be known as Sid the Kid. And Alex obviously was the Great, is the Great and will be known forever as Alex The Great.

All right, at least something to talk after the loss... :-)

The sun will be up tomorrow, the sky will be blue... Go Caps!

Ovechkin reached the milestone in the third period of the Washington Capitals' game against the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night, his 296th career contest.
He is the fourth player in league history to score 200 goals in his first four seasons, joining Wayne Gretzky, Mike Bossy and Mario Lemieux.

The NHL's reigning MVP spun around and sent a wrist shot past goalie Jonathan Quick 10:32 into the period for an unassisted goal.

It's Ovechkin's NHL-high 37th goal this season.
