Ovechkin: Better off with Fedorov

 Actually the title is "OVECHKIN: DIFFICULT WITHOUT FEDOROV" :-)

The star of Washington Capitals Alexandr Ovechkin was hailed in one of the Moscow nightclubs.

Last year the friends of Ovechkin gathered in the club Rai already to celebrate his Hart Trophy winning. This year the ice hockey player again received the most prestigious individual award in NHL and gave cause for another party.

"This year everything is better organized and well-planned," said Ovechkin before the party started. "For me it is a good opportunity to have rest before the start of the new season."

"I am very much pleased that many people are going to congratulate me."

"I have more than enough emotions and it is just a party for my friends and close people."

"I became a delegate of the Olympics-2014 in Sochi recently. I am proud that I was awarded this title."

"It is necessary to show the world that the Olympics in Sochi will be held on the highest level and that Russia deserved the right to hold Olympic Games."

"I am already thinking about the Vancouver Olympics. And I know people hope for the victory of our team."

"Canadians want to revenge on us for the losses in two consecutive World Championships. But not only they want it. For two years we outplayed everybody and all countries want to beat us."

"Next season will be difficult without Sergei Fedorov that left for Metallurg Magnitogorsk. It is a pity to lose such a great man and a wonderful player."

"But life is life. We wish him luck and success. I wanted to have him in NHL. But he chose a different way – to play with his brother and I think it right."
