Terrific start for Ovechkin and Caps

Awesome numbers for Ovi:
2 goals, 1 assist, +2, total ice time 20:14, avg shift 01:00, 5 shots on goal, 8(!) shot attempts blocked, 3 hits.



Here's the hit that rocked Recci, awesome and clean hit. Recci got what he deserved. Why? I remember how old f*rt shouted horrible profanities at Ovi when Alex just started his career in the NHL. Now he got a payback. Plus Ovi got PP for Caps, they scored and that was the end of any hope for Bruins. I don't blame Chara, he's a Captain, he did what he could for his teammate.

Brooks Laich had 2 goals and 1 assist, Backstrom had 3 assists, and Semin got 2 assists.

Who could've imagine this start? Like Versus said about Caps, "It's almost like they wanted to make a statement".

I am so curious what Poti had done to Savard back when they were in Western conference. Every time Marc sees Tom, it's like a bull sees red, LOL.
