The Caps hosted a pee wee team from the Ukraine at practice today. McPhee gave them a guided tour of the facility, and then they got to meet Alex Ovechkin, which, judging from their smiles, was likely the highlight of their young lives.



Former Caps center Dainius Zubrus paid for their trip to the States. For Zubrus, it was his way of giving back. An NHL player paid for his youth team to come over from Lithuania when he was a youngster, McPhee said, and the experience stuck with him.
