The Capitals extended their franchise-record winning streak to 13 games tonight with a 5-2 victory over Atlanta at Verizon Center.

The Capitals next play on Sunday against arch-rival Pittsburgh. The game is scheduled for noon despite the heavy snow that's blanketing the D.C. area.
