Team Russia held an hour-long workout on the ice of Britannia Centre. Only Sergei Fedorov was absent, he was training on the individual program. The rest worked mostly on PP and PK. One PP unit consisted of Ovechkin, Datsyuk, Malkin, Kovalchuk, and Gonchar, and another of Semin, Kozlov, Radulov, Markov and Nikulin. Both Ovechkin and Radulov were placed in front of the net, trying to obscure the goalkeeper's view. According to the head coach Igor Zakharkin Evgeni Nabokov will start against Czech Republic.

AO is not a crease guy. We tried that *once* in DC and sent him right back out to the point. Gah.
Is Mikhail Knubulov available?
Lol, I didn't get it at first. Awesome, Emily!
Knublov is Latvian American, by the way.
When the Caps get back together in DC, Ovi should buy Knuble a few rounds, or maybe build him a house.
Maybe Knuble can move in next door to Ovi. Rumor has it that the house next door to Ovi's is for sale.
Can't move in next door. It isn't for sale. The house 2 down was but it's under contract and should close relatively soon. (Sorry friend is a neighbor). :)
Damn, I wanted to buy it... Blogging from the house next to Ovechkin's? Precious...
