What's up with Russian reserve players?

There was a question raised about Russian reserve players. Here's the answer:

Russian Ice Hockey Federation expressed its gratitude to the five players who went to the Olympics in Vancouver as a reserve and now are coming back home.

"Vasily Koshechkin, Alexander Eremenko, Vitaly Proshkin, Vitaly Atyushov, Alexei Tereshchenko, all these guys are the real professionals," says the statement on the RHF website. "We are proud that they have been with us, played and will play for the team in the future, and we thank you for your understanding."

We remind that on Tuesday, February 15, with all the players present after the late arrivals, the coaching staff will hold the first team meeting after which the final roster and the Captain and alternates for the tournament will be annouced.
