Is Ovechkin injured?
I've heard this speculation on NHL XM Satellite Radio. When Ovi left the practice early, Tarik tweeted:
TarikElBashir:
Speculation around KCI is that Alex Ovechkin isn't 100-percent. But he will play Thursday.
Ovechkin obviously denied that, but one thing in which you can't trust Ovi is when he denies he is playing with injury.
TarikElBashir:
Alex Ovechkin said he left yesterday's practice early to save his emotions and energy for the games. Said he's not hurt.

"We gave him no space, no time to shoot, even when he had chances." Halak said. "Our guys stuck close to him. We did a great job, but Saturday's another game." "He had no shots, but he probably had 10 shots blocked," Spacek added. "He tried hard for it. Their whole line played hard." "He didn't play well," Washington head coach Bruce Boudreau said of Ovechkin. "When you get (47) shots on goal and you have four power plays and he doesn't get any. They took him away pretty good, but I just don't think he was very good tonight." The difference in the game was Tomas Plekanec's goal at 13:19 of the overtime period.
TarikElBashir:
On the lineup board in the Habs' dressing room tonight, Plekanec's No. 14 was replaced by a No. 68 -- just for giggles.

I think the Caps lineup board should have this:
60 Theodore (line through it)
29 Dryden (line through it)
60 Theodore.
After all why not have a little fun with this whole thing on both sides...
