Ovechkin talks before heading out to his favorite North American city
Apr. 18, 2010
Caps Captain speaks to the media after Sunday practice at KCI before heading out to Montreal for game 3 and 4.
On his first goal: I don't score that many goals this style. But it counts.
On if he felt 100-percent: Yeah. Probably. I feel comfortable and good. Last game was very important mentally for us. But still we have to forget it and concentrate on next game.
On Halak: I watched the replay when Fehr scored the goal and his arm was shaking when he drink water. So he's nervous. He knows the pressure on him and it's a good sign for us.
About Montreal: In Montreal if you go somewhere people know you and follow you around. Especially in Canada. It's crazy place. But you have fun over there, you play hockey. People just love you over there. But right now it's not about fun. It's all about business. And I think all this guys know we go there not just see some family, some friends. We go there to win games. And we have to win these.

Ovie a pit bull (starts at 4:15)

Maybe Ovie's personal trainer from Russia got him "fine tuned" just in time to avoid an embarrassing first round exit.
Oh, how I so want Ovie to score another extraordinary goal against the Canadiens like the piroutte drop jaw goal that's got to be on the top 5 list of Ovie's all-time best.
I'll settle for two Caps wins on this trip to Ovi's favorite North American city, regardless of who scores the goa.s
