Another Craig Adams dirty hit
Seriously, how many calls are going between Mario and his NHL office buddies? We'd never know. The Pittsburgh Penguins owner has a lot of connections. Any dirty play by Pens goes unnoticed unless there is a big public outcry. Caps fans need to start the new campaign that somehow was lost by Washington Capitals in cyberspace. You won't believe how much whining comes from Porksburgh any time they have a chance to crucify Ovechkin. Caps fans need to counteract to that. Go to twitter and at least counter those numerous silly posts against Ovechkin that have no ground except the fear that he'd stop their favorite team from winning.
Craig Adams Boarding Hit on Marc-Andre Bergeron
Nick Kypreos tweet:
Indication from the league is the Craig Adams 5 min hit from behind on Bergeron won't be enough to warrant additional discipline.
1080iVids — February 07, 2010 — Craig Adams lays a dirty hit during the first period on Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin. Would love to have seen say Chimera do this to Crosby, I can guarantee there'd be a penalty call and a bunch of others. Let alone if a Penguin player stood up for him, sure enough he wouldn't be given a misconduct.

*Sigh*
You do realize you're preaching to the choir here.
I'd be motivated to try to do something about this injustice, this undeserved and cruel crucifixion of Ovie. But what chance do I have, do any of us have individually and collectively, of countering the influence and pressure, the power and might, of someone like Mario Lemieux?
Resistance is futile. We've all been absorbed into the Porksburgh collective--NOT! I want to resist, really I do, but what will it really accomplish?
If Ovie feels crucified, he should stop reading the negative press and concentrate on the comments of loyal devoted Caps fans. He has to know, I hope he knows, that the negative chorus is not the only song being sung about him.
