I'm going to Vegas again for the Awards show and will be arriving the 22nd, so I will for sure go to this!!!! YAY CAN'T WAIT!!!!! hopefully I'll get more pics of Ovie in the pool ;) hehe.

added note...JR and Ovi together partying until 4am...sounds like some serious trouble brewing. JR was just plain rotten back in the day and I'm sure he hasn't changed much. Talk about double trouble..ladies take care of your hearts (among other body parts) on this night!

yes i was the one who posted that video of ovie during the poker tourney then swimming at the palms pool, prob one of the best moments ever!!! I'll make sure to post pics and take vids and have awesome good times!!!!

The only thing that would turn this Ovie event into a downer for a fantasy life freak like me is if it's really a wedding reception after a quickie marriage at one of the Vegas chapels. I so don't want to go there or even think about it!

They have to stop partying (briefly) since the awards ceremony is at 4pm on Wed (followed by the post-party).
No Hart for Ovie, if true, would be an unsurprising culmination of The Year Everyone Piled on Ovechkin.

@O: this past year went far beyong piling on Ovie if you read some of the not-so-nice so-called fan sites. We even get trolls here so you can just imagine the vitriol that's spewed elsewhere.
=0( I hope it is wrong, but I have a feeling he didn't get it as everyone's been rapping on him this year. Stupid in a way, since he's taken on more of a role on the team imo, and still managed to get 50 g's and 59 assists in 10 less games...but whatever, that's nothing special. Jerks. lol
If true and he didn't, I hope Henrik get's it. I've actually been impressed by his playing that I've seen and also, eff crosby. And I'm a Canadian, he's too annoying.
I was in Vegas last week, should've waited until this to go!! One of my co-workers knows a couple of people at Lavo and they couldve got me in! Ugh!! I hope he makes an appearance at the NHL draft, I'll be there!
Ovie losing the Hart and Ted Lindsay awards would put the icing on a very bitter cake. However, Ovie seems to be enjoying himself a lot this off-season so I don't think he'd be depressed or disappointed if he's shut out of the awards. However, if he needs consoling, I happily volunteer my services to make him feel a LOT better.
@O again: one further thought about everyone piling on Ovie. The only thing I want piled on top of Ovie is ME!!!
Is he in Vegas yet? In dire need of an Ovie fix. Summer is torture.

I love the Canadians on here who can't stand Crosby.
And I agree if Ovi doesn't win the Hart, then I hope Henrik does. But Vegas odds has Crosby winning--maybe that's where that anonymous person heard it.
Anyhow, if he doesn't win, we know it will just make him even more motivated for next year.
And as for the piling on, the Canadian media can go to hell. I've never seen a group enjoy bringing someone down the way they do. If Ovi was Canadian, the media would have treated this year entirely different.
