That's the sound of yours truly falling to the floor fainting LOL! Those kinds of pics need a warning label, so I respectfully request the blog host do so in the future to warn the faint of heart in advance what to expect.
Which brings up another reason why I hope Ovie doesn't get into any violent fighting. I couldn't stand it if anyone messed with that face.
I hope the gap in Ovie's uppers is intact, although from the pics Ovie seems to be intentionally hiding the state of his upper teeth. The upper gap gives Ovie a rakish devilish look, adding to his charm and charisma. I hope it's still there, although it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me if it's gone. No way I'd kick him out of the sack for that LOL!
BTW, who's the blonde in the first pic? Is my fantasy life alive and well or has it suddenly be put on life support?

Am I getting too carried away with this? The Caps going out early in the playoffs is one of the biggest reasons for my over active imagination.
Ovie has too much free time on his hands. If the Caps had done what was expected of them, he would still be playing here in the Stanley Cup Finals. There would be no time or opportunity to obsess about blondes or kickboxing. *Sigh*

No, his gap on his front is still there. He explained it several times: if he would fix it now and another puck would hit it, he'd lose half of his upper jaw, or something like that. That's why he is not inserting the tooth.

Don't worry. The absence of Caps' hockey makes all fans go crazy in their own ways although the Bears' playoff run keeps some of that at bay. Go Bears!

And regarding the gap - the way to fix it permanently is to implant a metal peg in the jaw with a permanent crown over it.
He is correct in that additional injury to his mouth after the peg is implanted would cause a great deal of possibly irreparable damage, which is why most hockey players opt for off-ice dentures/bridges while they are still playing.
He has a spacer he is supposed to wear at night to keep the other teeth from shifting around, and he could choose to use a cosmetic bridge for his missing tooth but he says as long as the ladies like it (and they do), he's not interested.

I was a little worried aswell about the blond girl next to him. But hey, who cares about the real life, when you have an intact fantasie to escape in once in a while. In my fantasie I don't really care about OTHER girls lol

I'm glad, too, that the bottom teeth seem to be intact. Does he ever, ever wear the spacer in the top? I guess never in public. Maybe when he sleeps he wears it to keep his teeth aligned.
No kidding Bobby....those were certainly nice to wake up to. I saw the caption with the interviewer and thought yay...even though she is blatantly staring at that pouty bottom lip of his... then again who wouldn't stare at it, if given the chance.

I read that if you can get the knocked-out teeth back into your mouth (and get yourself to a dentist) within 30 minutes, there is a better chance of saving them. Maybe that's what he did because the 3 on his bottom left look a little "off". Hopefully it works!

@O: I'm rooting for the Bears too, but let's be honest. They're no subsitute for Ovie playing in the Stanley Cup Finals. The Caps early playoff exit created an Ovie vacuum in my universe. Nature abhors a vacuum, hence my wild speculations about him and me LOL.

Marge is a fan and frequent poster on this site. Last year she went to the NHL Awards in Vegas and sent back photos and video for TJ to post.

I also noticed Ovie's comment at the NHL Charity Poker Tournament "Next year, it's my dream to be in the Final and take the Cup." Oh if only...*Sigh*
