"We always had a livestock in our house; the cats and dogs, fish, small parrots," says Uncle Misha.
"When my son played for Dynamo he would bring stray cats from Novogorsk facility. We still have one after 10 years. The kittens and cats stay, but tomcats eat off and leave. We have 3 dogs, 8 cats, and a fish tank. But when his friend Grigoryev-Apolonov was presented with a sheep as a birthday present, Alex brought it to the dacha.The sheep lived here the whole winter, got fat. I decided to give it away. Sheeps are herd animals."
Ok, Baasha is gone, What about German shepherd Ghera? Awesome news, you can see Ghera in Arlington very soon. Uncle Misha is bringing the dog to the States in September.

Sounds like me too with the way he brings strays home. We have 5 cats here at the house although we used to have 7. One ran off and then my girl kitty passed away after 18 years. :( Nevertheless, we love animals and I can't wait to get a house out in the country because I'll have many more! :)
Aww! That's so cute. I've heard about him doing that before, but it's still cute to hear it again. 3 dogs, 8 cats and a tank(other than ovie himself lol) that's a lot.
My friend used to have like five cats and three dogs. He has a German Shepard, a mastiff(don't know what kind), and a black lab. Exhausting choices! lol Wonder what Ovie's dogs are.
Well, since you've asked, they are both East European male shepherds. I think it's a Russian breed based on Germans.
I was too lazy to translate that piece. Uncle Misha says that when Ghera will grow up, he'll find her a German guy; he doesn't want East Europeans to mix in. That are his words. :-)
