Ovechkin and McNabb's Capital One commercial (update)

DC Sports Bog, Sept. 13, 2010:

Well, we knew this Capital One commercial starring Alex Ovechkin and Donovan McNabb was coming. Sunday night, it arrived. Here's one television photography version of the spot, sure to be beloved by local sports fans in much the same way as Bruce Boudreau's Cup Holders and the Ameritel triplets are.

Saw this one last night. I really like the Ovie and the Visigoths commercial, but did not like this one. I get that Ovie is supposed to be helping McNabb move in, but did not find it funny.

What strikes me as odd about this commercial is that Ovechkin's nickname is Ovey, McNabb calls him Ovey, but the name on Ovechkin's moving van says "Oles' Moving Company." Given that Ovechkin's name doesn't even have an "L" in it, this just seems sloppy.

This commercial is a bit strange and out of sync. It lacks the humor of Ovie's first ad with the Visigoths IMO, and captures none of Ovie's awesome personality. I don't think even an HD version will help sell it.
