OK, this a bit off-topic post. I found this blog because they have the post by one of the students about Ovechkin and it is very nice and accurate post about Ovi...
This is a blog by "Students @ Stetson University exploring Russian culture. Неофициальный сайт студентов Стетсонского университета изучающих русский язык и культуру. [Unofficial site of Stetson University's students studying Russian language and Russian culture]".
They can help you to install Russian keyboard, remind you about great Russian AK-47 (I had no clue that it was influenced by American M1 Garand, older Browning rifles, and the German Strumgewher, well, everything is influenced by somebody) and give you the links to a collection of Soviet/Russian songs.
I love when Brooks grows out his hair, it's so cute. lol Looks fine with it short as well though... they all have their unique appeals, just some more obvious.
The Capitals are an attractive team! Well done. lol
Sigh. I <3 Backstrom. I'm so jealous lol I wish I could go to Washington... or maybe trade some guys for him... though it would never happen on either end! lol
"He's like the shark in Jaws, circling in the water waiting for blood. They should play that music from the movie – da-duh, da-duh, da-duh - when he's out on a shift. He doesn't just go after loose pucks, he hunts them down."
~John Davidson, President of Hockey Operations for the St. Louis Blues.

Just wanted to thank you for posting my book on your blog, which I consulted a fair bit while researching and writing the book. In particular, the comprehensive list of links on alexovetjkin.blogspot.com is the best library on Ovechkin material available anywhere.

"He’s crazy, he’s wild, he’s fun. He doesn’t shave, he’s missing a tooth, his hair’s all over the place".
Oh Brooksie, clearly you don't understand what girls like; this is part of what makes Ovi the sexy beast he is ;-)
@bwitch16: men can be so clueless sometimes LOL. But to be fair to Brooksie, he has his own unique appeal and I'm sure he knows it.
I think Brooksie understands Ovie's appeal quite well.
As for the AK, it is great for killing people and one of the many weapons the world could have done without.
@BobbyG and O: I would like to appreciate both of their appeals up close ;-)
Got my photo op ticket with Nick Backstrom for the Caps convention. Needless to say, Ovi sold out in 2 minutes.

That's my post!!!!!
I'm in Russian 101 and we're required to post on this blog. Nobody in my class knows ANYTHING about hockey, so I decided I should inform them! :)
Good job, Noel!
I wrote one about Varly for this unit. I'm keeping up with the trend and doing a different Russian every unit. :)
