Alex Ovechkin stars in a movie

He is in a Russian movie called "Зайцев, жги!" ("Carouse, Zaitsev, carouse!") and he plays himself.

Alexander Ovechkin stars in the movie called "Zaitsev, carouse". It's director is Anton Barshevsky. In the movie Ovechkin played himself, according to the official website of Art Pictures. (http://www.art-pictures.ru/films/4713.html)

The movie will be released on December 2, 2010.

But don't waste your time, Ovi is not in that trailer.


It turned out this interview was related, though in a YouTube video interview there was no mentioning about the movie, only YouTube tags could give you a clue.

Even if used in a way to make it sound cute or rather say it ('telochki') as a cute version of the word 'telki' (plural from 'telka') it is still demeaning to women.
Normally this word would be used in company of men who will be discussing where they can get a 'telka' for a night.
Men normally would not use this word around women just between themselves.
And if by chance heard to be called 'telka' majority of women in Russia will be upset and insulted to be called that way even if they would fit this description (from men's point of you of course).

Ovie seems to be taking on an increasing number of distractions during the off season. Soon he'll be known as a celebutante instead of a hockey player.
