What a sweet picture. I love the stories about Ovie and his animals, including rescuing stray cats. At caps con Ovie said Ghera was a great dog and he loved her. That shows in this pic.
As much as life.ru is disreputable rag, I did enjoy seeing the pics and video of Ovie being Ghera back to Moscow at the airport.

My daughter absolutely loves German Shepherds. That's the only dog we can her.

I wonder if she answers to commands in Russian and English. Can dogs handle more than one language? If she is going to spend a lot of time in the U.S. it would be good if English speakers could communicate with her (walks, escape from house, vet visits).
@0 Ghera might be a truly international dog, because she could of had some training in German also before Ovie got her.
The rescued stray cats are all at the dacha.

This whole Valeria-thing is so fucking hilarious... News flash: THEY'RE NOT DATING, MORE LIKE RELATED!! He had a great big plan to fool the press by acting/giving an impression like he is with her and later on, when the time is right for HIM, show up with his REAL girlfriend and get laughs out of it! Unfortunately his real life gf got bored with this act and left him (or where did you think this "slump" of his came from?). Actually I saw her recently on a date with some guy; good for her! I didn't understand what she saw in him in the first place, since she's way too "class act" for him. Who's laughing now, Ovie?

I saw Valeria at the game last night. In between second and third periods, my aunt and I were walking around and saw Ovie's dad. A minute later we saw Valeria walking by us with a female with black extremely curly puffy hair. They stopped and were talking a lot and Valeria looked like she was having fun. She was dressed in black tights with a short navy skirt, black shirt, black leather jacket. She had a big sparkly ring on her middle finger. I'm not sure if I've seen her wear it before. Sorry, no pics because I didn't want my aunt to think I was a pyscho stalker. All 3 times I've seen Valeria I was with my aunt, at least she agrees to pausing and checking out Valeria. The friend she was with did not look Russian at all.
I would bet that Ghera was trained to answer commands in German. My former housemate had a dog trained to answer commands in German. He (the housemate, not the dog) said it was pretty common. That way, robbers can't order your dog to "sit" or "stay."
Also, I doubt Valeria would be spending so much time in Washington if she wasn't actually dating Ovi. I love living in Washington, but I've found that people from places like NYC and Moscow tend to find it kind of boring. Not to mention that she's probably missing out on opportunities to promote her career.

She has several diamond rings and earrings. The one you mention she has worn before at other events before coming to DC. I haven't seen her wear anything new (other than Caps gear).

Yeah, she looks like a child because she doesn't eat, she is in modeling business. Her real age is like 24 y.o. Somebody suggested that her Halloween costume should be a toothpick.

Yes, she looks and can act very young, but sometimes I've seen her face look really old. If she wants to be a model, then she needs to take better care of her face.
I still prefer the pre-Kate Moss era models and currently Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr, and Marisa Miller.
I'm glad the modeling industry is moving (slightly) away from the super skinny model. Clothes look better on a shape with some contours.
@TJ, LOL! about the costume idea. I think someone on Puck Daddy said she looked like a hockey stick with hair. Either would have worked. She dressed as Barbie for Halloween and waived $20s around. I don't remember that being one of Barbie's "professions." Mom probably would have taken my Barbies away if that happened. LOL.

She wants to promote herself, be admired, and become a bigger model by increasing her online presence, but she resents people who give her free publicity? If she wants to be private, then she should keep her life off the internet.
