How Washington Capitals team of this season is better than the one from the last season? Back then you won President's Trophy as the best club of the regular season.
In principle there's no difference. It is the same team. We lost some players, we got some. The usual business.
What is your personal goal for this season? It is understandable that you want to win the Stanley Cup. Waht about the title of the top scorer in the league, or a sniper?
It is impossible to predict what you can win. You just go out on the ice up and play. I want to win all the trophies that you've mentioned. But what is most important is to get into the playoffs and play there.
Who do you think is the main competitor for individual trophies?
I've just played against one of them the other day. Stephen Stamkos of Tampa, one of the best snipers of the league. Yes you saw it yourself; he has created one scoring chance, and scored one goal. It's hard to play against him, he needs constant attention.
How long did you shoot the movie "Professor Ovechkin's head?
Three hours.
Do you wish that you would have the head in the locker that would give you advices?
God forbid! I already know what I need to do.
Is it true that you recently got hooked on Facebook?

Eminem over the Beatles? That probably explains your mental mistakes and gaffes on the ice lately. Ovie, you need to expand your musical horizons to include artists and groups with timeless talent.

In one of the behind-the-scenes monents while filming the "head" commercials, Ovie says he doesn't have a Facebook account. But if he has one now, it's probably the Russian version.
Ovie was interviewed on the radio this afternoon (on the 106.7 the fan if you want the podcast).
He said he'd pick Semin first if he was chosen as captain for the All Stair game.

@tj: boxers, briefs, I don't care as long as it's not a banana hammock ;-)
@O: He's only been here for so many years, it takes a while to get into the world outside your own country (I'm still very Swedish even though I have been here for 13 years). But he is a proud Russian boy so I wouldn't expect him to change that for a while either.
@Bobby G...while Eminem is not at on the same par as the Beatles, he is a very talented rapper and producer in his own right. I am not a huge Eminem fan, but I have mad respect for him! He has been around for over 10 years, so he is not some flash in the pan.
We tend to music that "speaks" to us! You maybe able to relate to the Beatles, but their music may not resonate with someone like Ovie, but maybe Eminems music might!
Signed a hopeless U2 fan (of which Ovie has been spotted at one of their concerts ;) )
@Martha: your points are valid. It's true, the Beatles music speaks to me whereas Eminem most definitely does not. He might be a "talented" rapper, but rap is not my style. Even though he's been around for 10 years, IMO his music (rap in general) is not timeless. I'm resigned to the fact that Ovie and I occupy two different music universes. But if he's been to see U2, there might be some hope for him after all. :)
