Caps Care Casino Night

Want to play blackjack with Alex Ovechkin or jam with Brooks Laich in a game of Wii Rock Band? Then you won’t want to miss the second-annual Caps Care Casino Night and Auction. Fans are invited to enjoy an evening of delicious food, live music and mingling and gaming with players and coaches, all in the name of charity. Taking place on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, this exciting event will feature a raffle, silent auction with game-used equipment and autographed memorabilia and live auction with once-in-a-lifetime experiences with Caps players and coaches.
All proceeds benefit Washington Capitals Charities.

Well, I had one more Caps event before I fly off tomorrow. I went to the Caps Casino Night. Ovie was dressed so nicely. He had a blue suit with red pin strips, very sharp. Here are some pictures:

yes, the night was amazing. no dates seen for either Alex. the highlight of my night was outbidding David Steckel on a silent auction item (a signed Brett Favre jersey). I informed Steckel I outbid him, and his wife joked with me and said he was crying over losing the item, and then he wished me a congrats and hope I enjoy the jersey. it was fun :)
The Alex's look like they are about to be pall bearers at a funeral with those boutonnieres! And I still can't get used to this new haircut. That plus the clean shave makes him look a lot younger.
And his bowling form looks about like my grandma's in Wii bowling! She is constantly releasing the ball so that it flies behind her and startles all the onlooking Mii's!
And Marge-- we are going to miss your awesome photos and reporting!
@mkat83: I agree, I don't like the clean shaven, short-haired look. Bring back the scruffy looking Ovi, but give Nick a hair cut :-)

I still think Ovie's haircut is way too short.
