Ovie looks and sounds like he's still relishing the Caps Winter Classic victory and Russia's gold medal win over Canada in the WJC. He says if he wasn't playing pro hockey he'd be a coach for kids. I liked how he dodged the question about whether he or Crosby is better. Maybe Ovie should consider a career in the diplomatic corps when his NHL playing days are over LOL.
I like his little smile at the end after the Ovi vs. Sid question.
Still no thread on last night's game against the Lightning? I don't blame you one bit TJ, there's not much positive to take from the Caps performance. IMO it was one of the worst, if not THE WORST of the season so far. How and why this team could not get motivated to play a good complete game against their division rival for the #1 spot in the SE division is inexplicable and unacceptable.
You got it, BobbyG. But also give credit to Bolts and Cats, they are better teams than they have been for the last 4-5 years.
@TJ: I'll give the Bolts and Cats credit for their improvement for sure. But last night the Caps played down to the level these teams were in the past, not up to the level they are at now.
Wow. I almost gagged as I typed this. Shocking.
I agree that the team played well even when he lost.
