You've got questions? Ovi got answers...

Just in, breaking news from our field reporter Emily:

Ovi:

Some say it's a bad omen, you can't shave before important games. A good excuse for a hockey player with a sensitive skin. But now I have Gillette Fusion Proglide Power Razor, blah, blah... :-) So now I have Gillette and no "примет" (pree-met) (no omens)

Sportbox.ru and Gillette, the world leader in shaving and grooming for men, invite you to participate in the new project:
Starting on February 14th to February 24th you can submit a question to Washington Capitals and team Russia's forward Alexander Ovechkin.

Alexander the Great will answer to the most interesting questions during this period and at the end of will answer the rest of the question over video conference.

Here's the picture gallery and the SportBox.ru page where registered users can submit the questions.

And if you want to do that, here're the translations for the registration page:
Эл. почта (email)
Пароль (Password. At least 6 characters)
Повторите пароль (Retype pasword)
Псевдоним (Username. Must be English letters, numbers, -, _)
Число на картинке (Number on the picture)

We'll keep you updated when Ovi will post the answers.

The ten authors of the most interesting questions will receive the gift sets from Gillette.

Thanks Emily and TJ for this news, especially the photo gallery. Ovie looks great, but I still prefer him with longer hair and some scruff.

I have lots of questions, but don't feel like joining the crowd. In an earlier time this season or last year, I most likely would have jumped at the chance to ask Ovie something. Not anymore.

I just want to know when he's going to stop shaving. I'm sure the rest of the questions will be as asinine as always (like mine wasn't) ;-)~

@BobbyG: I agree with you I don't feel like joining the crowd, but sad to hear you so down on the Ovi :-(

@bwitch16: my ennui/malaise is partly the result of having seen too much laziness and disinterest on the part of the guys on the ice. It's also partly due to receiving a discouraging medical report, which I know is affecting my perception. It is what it is.

Bottom line: I made a very deep emotional investment in the Caps and hope for their success. Unfortunately, there have been too many times this season where I felt I cared more about the outcome of games than the multi-millionaire players did. IMO Ovie has his priorities out of order. Whether this perception is valid or not, I don't know. It is what it is.

@BobbyG: So sorry to hear of your bad medical news. Sending wishes for some positive news soon.

I feel the discouraged too but I really don't know why things go the way the do with the buys. I already went through this with my favorit football team (Ravens) when they played well and then laid down and let the damn Steelers use them like Ben uses.... yeah. Anyways, here is some positive thoughts going out to all of them and you, whether it's working or not, it's all I got :-)
