“He’s amazing. There aren’t enough words in English or Russian to describe him.”
~Chris Drury
"He's like the shark in Jaws, circling in the water waiting for blood. They should play that music from the movie – da-duh, da-duh, da-duh - when he's out on a shift. He doesn't just go after loose pucks, he hunts them down."
~John Davidson, President of Hockey Operations for the St. Louis Blues.
Keep the faith, TJ, and keep up the good work.
Thank you, Alex Ovetjkin, for killing this ridiculous storyline with this post.

Just wanted to thank you for posting my book on your blog, which I consulted a fair bit while researching and writing the book. In particular, the comprehensive list of links on alexovetjkin.blogspot.com is the best library on Ovechkin material available anywhere.

Not to get overly obsessive about such things, but is Ovie the one who should be playing ice cop and going after Ruutu? Or did he take matters into his own hands because no one else was willing to do it?
Ovie and some of the boys were at the Wiz/Heat game the other night:

Oh Ovie...your tweetpic yesterday! Did you charm Mrs. Obama so she will talk to her hubby about finally attending a Caps game? Did you do your "Russian Spy" schtick for the Secret Service? LOL
Ian Oland at RMNB came up with the word but it must be repeated: OVECHDANCE for Ovie's OT goal celebration in tonight's game vs. the Sabres. Best part is, 5-year old William Shannon got to see his favorite player Ovie in action as part of his Make-a-Wish dream. I'm so happy for him to see it, and for Ovie to make it happen. I've been in tears almost all day because William's story has a special personal resonance for me.
