well as everyone says playoffs are way different then regular season. no one wanted Lundqvist and Co. because they had shut us down all year and Henrik was a wall, but we all see how well that went for them. I think any team that makes it to the 2nd round and earns a date with us deserves as much respect as the next, but I do believe this team can take anyone. I'd rather have montreal Price and Subban are easily rattled and we could break them
I agree with Marge. Regular season results are no predictor of what will happen in the playoffs.
My personal preference is to get the Habs in Round 2 to exact some revenge and payback from last year. What's the old saying, revenge is a dish best served cold? I also hope the Pens beat the Bolts so the Caps can meet them in the EC Finals. More revenge and payback from 2009's bitter harvest. Aren't we all ready to put the past to rest once and for all? GO CAPS!
I am ready for this round 1 to be over so that we can get back to watching some real hockey. I think the Caps are ready for whatever team comes at them, and I am ready for round 2 to start so I can watch my boys play again.
