“He’s amazing. There aren’t enough words in English or Russian to describe him.”
~Chris Drury
"He's like the shark in Jaws, circling in the water waiting for blood. They should play that music from the movie – da-duh, da-duh, da-duh - when he's out on a shift. He doesn't just go after loose pucks, he hunts them down."
~John Davidson, President of Hockey Operations for the St. Louis Blues.
Keep the faith, TJ, and keep up the good work.
Thank you, Alex Ovetjkin, for killing this ridiculous storyline with this post.
~Mike Prada, Sr. Editor, SB Nation
Blog o Alexovi, psaný anglicky, je vážně kvalitní a aktuální
Just wanted to thank you for posting my book on your blog, which I consulted a fair bit while researching and writing the book. In particular, the comprehensive list of links on alexovetjkin.blogspot.com is the best library on Ovechkin material available anywhere.

That's hilarious, and I love DesignoAbes response...
Wonder where Ovi is going next?
Ovi is the best! He never fails to keep us entertained!
I love that hes still in US and flying everywhere. He was at Kettler rink this am!
Fallowing Ovi is probably the funnies thing I ever done in the internet hahaha!!!XD
Anyone else think Varly probably stole Ovi's phone after that late night filings one? "Too drunk, get off the phone!"
Don't drink and text, kids.
Ovie's tweets are becoming even more entertaining and endearing. He's so natural, he seems to be enjoying staying in touch with his fans. He is the people's champion, as someone once said.
IMO he passed through Colorado to wish Varly well and spend some time with him on the day Varly was introduced as the Avs goalie. If so, this is a very classy gesture on Ovie's part.
Since Ovie tweeted being back in DC, I think he will be at the Caps development camp next week, for all or part of the event. If he shows up, IMO this is another very positive indication he's taking his leadership role as Caps Captain more seriously.
Him just being in the US already is a big step. I'm proud. It's good to know he's aware that he can have fun in the US with his team mates.
He's hanging out with Stanislav Galiev at a Nats game, and then his house. (Not sure if Orlov is there or anyone else. Galiev posted it earlier.)
