Bauer team flew to Moscow to meet with Ovechkin (Part 1)
In this video Ovi shows Bauer team his Dynamo training facility in Moscow, and how he trained there when he was a kid... Turned out this summer he was working out at Dynamo junior hockey school, not in Novogorsk!
"Alex Ovechkin has joined Bauer Hockey and he took some time to show us around his local town and where he grew up playing hockey."
And in this video you get the flow of today's announcement from Bauer and Ovechkin...
Ovi walks in with a Bauer equipment bag and a Bauer stick in his hand.
Ted Leonsis: "He’s been trying his hardest to try to break a stick and so far they seem to be indestructible and that makes us all smile."

Is there any more proof of Ovie's star power than Bauer flying to Moscow to meet him and tour the Dynamo facility? I enjoyed the tour and look forward to what is going TO BE CONTINUED.
BobbyG, Bauer has another video of Ovie touring the Dynamo facility. It's called video 2 here:

I enjoyed the stories he told in part 2.
When I think that Ovechkin can't get any cooler he always probes me wrong. I can't wait for the second part. It’s so cool to see inside of one of the best sports clubs in the world.
BTW, I'm glad that he didn’t announce that he was going to be a father. It gave me hope hahahaha just kidding. But I don’t know why I think he is going to surprise us with something like that without giving us any hint.
Thanks for the videos.

Thanks for the link of the second part.
OMG, I was so wrong about his t-shirt hahahahaha!!! XD
There was a horrible plane crash in Yaroslavl carrying their KHL team, Lokomotiv. Only one of thirty-seven on the plane survived and is in critical condition.

This would have been team Varlamov played on, if he hadn't signed in the NHL.
Actually there was a dispute where Varly would play, Lokomotive or CKA St. Petersburg, but yeah, Varly is lucky sob. Lokomotive demanded that they had all the right on him. If it wouldn't be GMGM trading him to Avs, he'd be gone.
@AB: thanks for the link to video 2 on the Bauer site. They also have some very nice photos of outfitting Ovie and him taking first strides in their equipment.
No mas for now.
