Not sure how much to read into this, but #Caps top two lines are 8-90-22 and 21-19-28.

Group A is on the ice here at KCI, which is crowded but not overflowing with fans just yet, for the first practice of Capitals training camp.

Line combinations are a rather organic, and subject to change, thing at this point. That said, there are a few interesting groups of forwards out there this morning.

So far in tests, Alzner, Knuble, Laich and Beagle have stood out as good. Ovi faded after starting too strong. Collins struggled a bit.
