I can't even comprehend this right now, it's too much. To know the whole team. I really hope Galimov pulls through. He's a good friend of Alex's.

I called some friends in Russia to see how they were and everyone in Russia is very upset for this. My friend from Yaroslavl, who worked on teams medical staff last year for his schooling, I couldn't even understand what he said because of his tears. He almost worked there again this year, but took option at a hospital instead. :( I can not believe this though. So many good people... I feel sick to my stomach.

I know a lot of the Capitals were friends with people on Lokomotiv. Ovechkin, obviously Varlamov played for them, Vokoun, and I believe Neuvirth, even Backstrom was good friends with player on the team. I can only imagine the heartbreak in the locker room right now.

I'm sorry, but this is killing me... I'm going to stop and try to do my home work.

Come on Galimov!

I'm praying for Galimov to make it, as well as the crew member that survived.

KHL teams have offered to give up players on their roster for Lokomotiv. I'm not sure how they're planning to work it out contract wise, but I'm sure the players would be more than happy going there in memory of everyone who died today. Keep the team alive.

There will be a meeting this morning in Russia on what to do regarding KHL season and the Lokomotiv team. I do hope it is delayed, as I said in other post, and I hope they keep the team alive. It is historically such a great team, made even more important to carry on by today's events.

Even members of my local team, Toronto Leafs- a lot of players knew them. Grabovski is belarusian, played many times with Salei, Kulemin said he knew everybody on the team, Jonas Gustavsson was a good friend with Liv. All so sad, it makes you realise just how small hockey world is.

Not lying, when my little brother walked i the door from school I held him as tight as I could for about ten minutes.

Ovie's second tweet in Russian Google translates:

Sasha Galimov you must live! Hold on! We are all with you! Pray for you!

Ovie, yes I'll pray for Galimov to hold on and live. I'm still almost speechless and in disbelief. What an incredibly awful day today has been.
