Horse EightToFastToCatch in honor of Ovechkin
Do you remember turf router Ovechkin, a 4-year-old gelding named in honor of Washington Capitals star Alexander Ovechkin?

It is a trait the Hefts hoped their horse would have.
People don’t always get the meaning — “I had to leave the spaces out because of the jockey club requirements for the length of names,” Heft said — but the horse is living up to his name.

EightToFastToCatch was just that Saturday at Laurel Park, as he ignored the rain, mud and closinghorses to win the $150,000 Maryland Million Classic and set off a joyous celebration in the winner's circle.Read more...

This is hard to pronounce without the spaces. Well, at least they didn't use Ovi's full name this time.
