Alex Ovechkin wax figure is getting ready for Madame Tussauds Wax Museum!
Was there ever a hockey player in such museum? According to their web site, sports stars are represented by Babe Ruth, Tiger Woods, Muhammad Ali. And now... drum roll... by Alexander the Great Ovechkin!

Ovi got a new tooth.
@Devi: I sent TJ a link to the photo. I wasn't sure if it was real or Photoshop LOL. Maybe Ovie is getting a new endorsement deal for toothpaste and needs to look "complete" in the ads. :)
If the new tooth is for real, I hope it's for sleep only. The missing tooth gives him character, makes him look more unique.

I think this is the tooth he puts in when he goes to bed, to prevent other teeth growing closer. At least, that's what he said before.
I could be wrong but I think the tooth pic is a joke--part of the final touches on his Madame Tussaud's wax figure...Like the pic with fake hair swatches he tweeted...
Thanks TJ, I completely missed Ovie's tweets. But maybe Ovie is joking with us as the previous Anonymous said. The pic with the "hair"--LOL :)
He does have a spacer, or his teeth would shift. You don't [have to] wear them during the day, or all the time. It would ruin his jaw/teeth if he didn't.
I think that's the fake one they used to make the space in the wax statue though. He bores easily, doesn't he?
The Wax image of Ovi appears to have the missing tooth (and the teeth do look shifted in that icon.)
