My Gawd, Semin gave a second ENGLISH interview to Jill Sorensen. I think this is because he likes her (wink, wink). Could it be why this is the best Jill's interview ever conducted? :) And she looks extra hot here... :)

Just to remind, Semin's Dad was CFO of the second largest aluminum plant in the world, where this introvertedness comes from? No idea...
Never been Alex Semin's fan, but I can repeat what I said before, yes, Semin does care.
Why?
Because if he says, "Ovechkin is like brother to me...", do you need any extra explanation?

Seriously, I have no doubt now that Semin is trying to emerge from his shell, doing interviews in English. Maybe now the issue of whether he really cares or not will be laid to rest...unless the media wants to keep it going.
Semin is incredibly sweet and nice guy! And I love him with all my heart, and people like Semin make me proud of being Russian!!! Yay Sasha!!!

hahaha he got so shy whene she was teasing him, Semin said in Russian to the translator that he will now stare at him for the rest of the intervju:)

Did Ovie coach Semin on proper posture for the Mike Vogel and Jill Sorensen interviews? Good Sasha is sitting upright, no slouching LOL. No need to go there. :)
Thanks for sharing that, anonymous. I was wondering why he was staring straight ahead--figured there was an interpreter there just in case, but still funny what he said.
These interviews in English wouldn't be happening it Bradley hadn't called him out over the summer.
Fans (and the team) owe Bradley a thank you.
Trying to change his image by getting him to agree to "safe" interviews in English are a response to this summer's fallout.
