Asham calls Ovechkin a hypocrite
This is what Arron Asham said after Pens morning skate:
"Ovi is a hypocrite. The rivalry is back"WTF? Celebrating 50th goal is equal to taunting a man who is lying on the ice in a puddle blood? Unbelievable. Free DJ King, Asham needs some justice lesson to be taught.
Update from Capitals Insider:
“I don’t know what Ovie’s talking about, disrespectful,” Asham told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “A guy who throws his stick down and warms his hands over it. He is being a hypocrite himself. The rivalry is back. I’m sure the next game is going to have a lot of fireworks.”

Ovechkin celebrates when he scores! Not when he beats up a player! Asham is a sore loser! He thinks he can win a game by knocking down a player hahaha! What an ass!

@Devi: Asham should be ashamed of himself for equating his celebrating beating up Jay Beagle with Ovie's hot stick celebration of his 50th goal. You can't wait for Ovie's response? I can't wait for the next Caps/Pens game. Asham got one thing right during his misguided rant, there will be fireworks for sure. Oh and the rivalry isn't back, it never left. If I was Asham, I'd keep his head up and on a swivel the next time these 2 teams meet.
Oh and Beagle is fine, I saw him after today's practice. The fans outside the players' entrance called him a hero, and he thought that was funny so at least he has a sense of humor about it all.

i agree. i have never seen him celebrate when he hits someone or fights someone. celebrating a goal and celebrating beating someone up are complete opposite things and he is just stupid to call ovechkin a hypocrite.Can't wait for the next game between these two teams.
