Off topic: Wild, wild East!

Well, someone compared capitalism in Russia of Chicago in 1930's. Now it is North American hockey of 1930's, sucker-punches, players going after the fans like in Slapshot movie, wild, wild East.

Here we go, TV commentators in Minsk, Belorussia, are upset that Vityaz' Russian player sucker-punches a Finnish player of Dynamo Minsk. Not just that, he keeps pummeling him while Dynamo's player is lying on the ice. The commentators rightly complain about it, but it's not over. The head coach of Vityaz Nazarov lets his Canadian tough guy Kip Brennan to go on the ice and he won't disappoint. Brennan pummels anyone that comes to his view. The fans get crazy and throw the bottles at Nazarov (thanks God those were plastic bottles). Nazarov (@11:30) picks up the stick and goes after the fans.

Andrei Nazarov:

We had a "warm welcome" in Minsk. At first the fans were shouting "Russians, go home!" And then they began to spit at us. At end and they started to poke us with their flags, threw the bottles at us. I used to think about Belorussia as a brotherly State where I had a lot of friends. But today they injured me [throwing a bottle at me].

Wild, wild East!
