Hope they won't name Alex Ovechkin to All-Star game
What is All-Star game for Alex Ovechkin? Been there, done that. Maybe Caps should put him on IR if he still gets named. :-) It will also save a lot of time for me, personally, because I am not going to watch it (pardon me, Backis). And that's why Ovi will still be named to All-Star because without him it's not an All-Star game, UNFORTUNATELY.
Wish Ovi could have that nice vacation though... I remember Igor Larionov's remark after he scored his triple overtime winner in playoffs, "that little vacation in Florida during All-Star game really helped", or something like that...

As expected, Ovi, along with Dennis Wideman, was selected to All-Star game.

I'd love to go there. It's lots of attention there, lots of fans. You just play with the great players over there. It's nice time.
It's a great show. It's going to again be in Canada and everybody knows Canada is crazy about hockey and everybody is going to be excited over there. It's going to be nice.

Well, I will now, since Ovi got named.
I feel like Daria whenever I watch an all star game.
He's the main reason to watch it. He brings fun and excitement to the ASG.... who else would get a penalty during the game, lol. Only Ovi.
Wonder what skills he gets to participate in this year? Last time he said he didn't want to do the same thing again so hopefully his captain selects him for someting different this time.
