Malkin explains Ovechkin's decision to skip ASG

Gino explains Ovi's decision to skip ASG:

я не осуждаю его, ни в коем случае. Он принял такое решение. Просто наверно ему сейчас это необходимо. Он получил эту дисквалификацию, наверно некомфортно себя здесь чувствовал и в первую очередь зная, что он не проведет следующие два матча, ходить с грустным лицом на таком празднике было бы неправильно. Он просто взял отдых, где-то подумать. Он возьмёт себя в руки, и он выйдет на свой уровень, это точно.

I don't blame him, not at all. He made his decision. He just probably needs it right now. He was suspended, probably he felt uncomfortable to be here in the first place knowing that he will sit for the next two games, and walk around here with a sad face on such a holiday would be wrong. He just took a vacation, to think about, to digest it. He will take care of himself and he will get back to his level, that's for sure.

How ironic it is to hear from a lot meaner, a lot dirtier hockey player such as Malkin. But he has a huge fan base in Pittsburgh that allows him to escape any kind of similar judgement. It is unbelievable how Pens hockey fans can raise the noise level to unbearable when they need it and put such a pressure on NHL when they want it.

Changing a charging call to three-game suspension?

Try it with Matt Cook and good luck with that. Obviously Mario's connections help them a lot as well.

Ovy's play can be described as reckless quite often. Malkin knows this more then anyone as hes the constant target of some of Ovy's runs. For people in Washington wondering about Backstroms return from a concussion remember this hit he took at Ovy's hands while attempting to run Malkin.

Not "hes", but "he was"... Kovalchuk made the truce between the two a reality and finally Ovi realized that his dream of winning the Olympic Gold without Malkin has no ground.

But watch out Canadians, Malkin will bury you!

See what I mean about theses Anonymous fans from Pittsburgh?

Really, really sad.

And if you really want, TJ, you could post the video of Malkin's two slewfoots in one game just for starters.

Of course, the people in Pittsburgh have probably never seen it cause the video replay guy that was caught cheating probably blocks out all bad youtubes that pertain to anything Penguins.

@D,

I think if they're civilized, we can take care of them, not?

Thank you tj!

I don't hate Geno, but what you said its true!

He escapes from a lot of bad fame just because he is Sid's side kick.

One of the best examples is that elbow he tried to give to Claude Giroux.

I didn't hear a lot from that action.

And the slew-foots!

Also, he barely got any hate from his mean and out of place tweets during the 2012 JWC and Ovi who only said nice things about both teams got a shower hateful tweets.

It is weird to hear him say something good about Ovi because even though they are at "peace" now, he always seems to despise Ovi.
