What are the chances for rendezvous with Maria?
Sasha Vujacic is a Slovenian basketball player who has played in Italy, the United States (for the Los Angeles Lakers), and more recently for Anadolu Efes S.K. in Turkey.
He is engaged to professional tennis player Maria Sharapova.
Sasha Vujacic' basketball club played Moscow CSKA on January 25th in Euroleague tournament. They lost 68-96 to CSKA and Vujacic had the most points (21) in that game. After the game he talked to media and they asked him about his girlfriend Maria Sharapova, who is also friends with Ovi's Maria Kirilenko.
How often do you see your future spouse?
Well, the Internet in general and Skype in particular helps to bring us together (laughs). In real life, of course, we rarely meet. In December, when there were no tournaments, we could still see each other; Maria came to Istanbul, went to my games. But now, once her tennis season began, we won't see each other much. If this is how Ovi's relationship is going to be, then I don't think is going to last unless Ovi keeps his pants on.

Ovi has never had a problem being faithful when he's in a committed relationship.
Doesn't mean the relationship won't be stressed from distance and no time together or someone else might catch his eye and he breaks off w Kirilenko.
Think he settled on this Maria becasue the other was never available? He tried to get Sharapova more than once.

Wasn't that the reason why he broke up with that cheerleader/dancer from dynamo Moscow?
I thought that was his problem because most of the girlfriends he had in his NHL career have never wanted to stay in D.C.
I don't blame him because I wouldn't wait weeks or months to see a boyfriend. I would rather find another one.
