I'm ashamed because I dislike Hunter so bad that I don't feel sad over us being close to lose the playoff spot.
I'm still hoping for a miracle because I want Ovi to prove that he can take this team further.
Either way, I get to say "I told you so" at the end if Hunter fails or Ovi succeeds.
And don't get me wrong I prefer Ovi and the team succeeding than Hunter failing.
Meanwhile... the Varlamonster is doing awesome with his new team! Yay!
And people said that I was just being a "puck bunny" or fan girl when I cried for him... I probably was but I always knew he was good and he should have stayed in our team! X(
Yeah, I hope he gets to the playoff so I could say those four words for that as well hahaha!

Yes, I'm being a troll right now but I prefer doing this than being depress for us losing more games. T-T
I don't know why people keep crediting Varly with the Avs successful season, ya he's keeping them in the 8th spot but Varly was horrible the whole season up until Feb. Giguere is really the rock for the Avs.
I am so happy for Ovie, 30goals for every season since he entered the NHL 7 seasons ago... AMAZING
I could say a lot of things criticizing people's bashing of Ovie and their unjustified and unrealistic expectations from him but I think that'll do. Ovie is still and will always be the Caps best player and he is still Captain so all the people calling for his 'C' can keep wasting their breath. I still love the Caps and Ovie and don't doubt we can still squeak into the playoffs :)
Marge, Varly wasn't horrible the entire season, look at his splits. He had a good start to the season and some rough months in the middle. Up and down play as he adjusted to a new team and not having a full time coach (just like Neuvy has struggled adjusted to not having a full time coach) and dealing with the loss of his entire team from Russia. But he's settled in and doing quite well in the past couple months. I don't think anyone would say the Avs record is solely due to him, that's ridiculous, but if you watched him play against the Rangers, the Avs won that game because Varly was crazy good. The Rangers outplayed the Avs but Varly was too good for them to score against. Jiggy has been a very important leader, but he hasn't played that well his past couple of games. He did play very well when Varly was struggling the most, so the Avs are lucky to have him.
I'm glad to see Ovi get to 30 goals. Otherwise, the Caps really depress me lately. I just don't know about them even making the playoffs.
