How bad is Alex Ovechkin's season?

For what it's worth, here are the numbers posted this season by left wingers Ovechkin and Scott Hartnell:
Hartnell: 35 goals, 29 assists, 64 points, 15 power-play goals, plus- 21, 130 PIM.
Ovechkin: 32 goals, 24 assists, 56 points, 9 power-play goals, minus-10, 26 PIM.
That IS shocking! Oh well, Caps are still in playoffs race, once there, everything can change for Ovi and that's all that matters.
To be fair, Alex has improved since All-Star break. For example, he was on pace for 32 goals season after the break, he already has 32 goals with 9 games left.

he actually has 13 power play goals.
and since dec 15th he is in the top 3 for goals. Only stamkos and malkin have more!
