The Washington Capitals is not a difficult topic for Evgeny Kuznetsov to talk about, but Evgeny still frowned, thinking about it.
How did you tell to Washington Capitals that your move to DC was postponed?
I didn't say anything to them.
Did the Americans learn it from the newspapers?
I have no idea. And now it kind of hurts that I was not even invited to a summer development camp.
Would you go?
I very much wanted it. Just curious to see again how things are there. But I was not invited. Even if I could not go, it still would be nice to receive invitation. I don't know if they give up on me or not, but it is a bit strange...

Kuznetsov should have come to North America this season to play hockey and the Capitals had expected him to do so. Now, things are probably a bit strained between the Capitals and Kuzentsov.
