I honestly wouldn't blame him if he didn't. He's constantly criticized, there are even "Caps fans" who say he shod stripped of his 'C' and traded. People call him selfish and a one trick pony. They criticize his defense, they criticize his lifestyle even his English speaking skills (which is amazing considering its not his primary language). In Russia he will be home, his fans aren't so critical and he's not goi g to be relentlessly criticized. And on top of all that there is a league that lied to its players not once but twice and is content with two lockouts in eight years. I don't even miss the NHL because it's not the only hockey out there.
Ovi doesn't miss NHL. "All the time while the lockout, I'll be in "Dinamo". Ovi said for idnes.cz after the game in Prague (his last answer on the page http://hokej.idnes.cz/lev-praha-dynamo-moskva-alexandr-oveckin-rozhovor-fwg-/evropa.aspx?c=A121009_221642_evropa_bem)
He loves it in Russia and the khl. he is looking stronger than he has in the past two years in the nhl. and they will probably will the championship, but we do have to realize he will be back in the nhl next season if their is a next season, because he is with the capitals and I'll tell you one thing he could win a billion championships in the khl but he wants that cup more than anything, and I know he wants it because its his childhood dream and getting that would be the world.
the nhl is a much better league than the khl!
