The Moscow "Dynamo star forward Alexander Ovechkin will not participate in the game of the KHL regular season against Dinamo Riga, reports the correspondent of Sportbox.ru Dinara Kafiskina. Ovechkin was diagnosed with bronchitis, accompanied by high fever.

The 27-year-old hockey player, who is a white'n'blue alumni, moved to Russia from Washington, DC because of the lockout in the NHL. During this time he played in 14 games, and scored 14 (6G, 8A) points.

The game between Dynamo Moscow and Riga will be held on Monday at 7:30 PM (Moscow time).
