Nicklas Bäckström rumour "du jour"

There's a rumor talk about high-profile acquisition that would be officially announced any day. Ovechkin might get a center in swede Nicklas Bäckström who had also centered Alexander in Washington. So far Nicklas Bäckström spends lockout in Sweden. But Dynamo's head coach Znarok refused to confirm this information yesterday, "Bäckström? Well, you are way ahead of the pack! I myself still don't have a clue..."

Dynamo lost in overtime to Sibir 2-3. Ovi was playing on a different line. He got an assist on a second goal by Dynamo at 57:55 (2-2), on a goal by Pestunov. The 8 games winning streak is over for Dynamo.
